Clive has overall responsibility for strategic oversight in Moore Stephens. He is a Recognised Auditor by the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority and a Responsible Individual listed on the Register of Statutory Auditors in the UK.
 
He has an honours degree in finance and accounting, qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1981 after training with EY in Birmingham, and became a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1992. After qualifying, he spent seven years in Bermuda, initially with EY before joining Aon to take up the position of President and CEO of its Bermuda subsidiary. Clive moved to the Isle of Man in 1989 to establish the Moore Stephens firm there.
 
In 1997, he became a partner in Moore Stephens in Gibraltar and in 2018 he led the effective merger of the two Moore Stephens firms. While they continue to operate autonomously, they share common resources, experience and talent, adding depth and technical knowledge to both. The firms have both Investors in People accreditation and ISO 9001 certification as well as being a full training office with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a Platinum training office with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
 
Clive is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Directors.  He has been listed on Citywealth’s Leaders List from 2018 and has been winner of its Outstanding Individual award.
